REY VAKILI

Sydney-born Rey Vakili is a style icon, foodie, business woman and creative entrepreneur. She left home at 18 to study Political Science at the prestigious Yale University and has since spent over a decade living and working abroad, calling cities like New York, London and San Francisco home. She now works as Managing Director for LTK Australia, the world’s largest influencer marketing platform.

Her first job out of Yale was at American Vogue as Assistant to the Editor-in-Chief, Anna Wintour (the fashion dream job that “a million girls would kill for.”) Through her unique exposure at Vogue, Rey established a network of high profile industry friends and amassed a large following of dedicated, fashion-obsessed followers who want a sneak-peak, behind her glamourous globe-trotting life. Rey has contributed to both American Vogue and Australian Vogue, including having written features on beauty, fashion and business.

After Vogue, Rey moved to London to pursue a career as a digital strategy consultant at LTK, a fashion-tech platform that allows creators to monetise their content. She then completed her MBA at Stanford Graduate School of Business. Since moving back to home, Rey has launched LTK here in Australia and now works as Managing Director for the Australian arm of the business.

Whether its high-street or high-end, Rey has a knack for making everything look glamorous. Her brand partnerships reach a refined and aspirational community. Her content is authentic and true to her bubbly character and it perfectly captures her elegant and sophisticated sense of style. Rey has partnered with brands like Gucci, Saba, HP, Mimco, Ferragamo, Glasshouse Fragrances, Westfield and David Jones. She is also an ambassador to the luxury skincare line, La Mer, Australian wine-maker Penfolds, Nespresso and is Food Ambassador at Northbridge Plaza. A classically trained dancer, Rey is passionate about the Ballet; she also loves cooking, reading and frequenting the racetrack.
